It was our first time to travel to Pagudpud. After 3 years of wanting to go to this place, We took the chance and went head on. The trip started by hopping on a bus from Pasay (took the Partas Bus), fare costs around 700 per head, it was an 7 hour drive to Vigan. Got off at Vigan to take pictures for two hours, went to Laoag after and our last stop was in Pagudpud where we spent two nights at polaris beach house.We were so ecstatic by the beach,it was so serene and calming. People were so nice. Food was exceptionally divine! But what topped our trip to Ilocos was the Pagudpud tour where Kuya RODERICK GUBATAN made our vacation worthwhile.What's interesting about Kuya Roderick is that he doubles as a lifeguard for one of Pagudpud's well-known resorts"POLARIS beach house". If you want to ride the blue waves of Maira-ira Beach or take a dip in the cool waters of Kaibigan Falls, worry not, for Kuya Roderick will be your lifeguard and bodyguard rolled into one. How cool is that? Being a sucker for safety, I knew that Kuya Roderick was the right choice.
No qualms when you ask a favor from him. Hindi sya magulang and he will really take you to places and let you enjoy. Not to mention he's a good photographer too. He took most of our pictures and quality was good! Something you won't expect a tour guide would do. Even before going to Pagudpud, he will reply to your texts immediately and you would feel that he's a good man. A respectful and God fearing at that! I wish I could have stayed in Pagudpud for long.
